Nina Wallace-Ockenden - eurythmy
Nina’s deepest interest lies in developing ensouled movement, both to music and to language. She loves dramatic expression and strives to create spaces for the sacred as well as for humour. Nina completed her eurythmy training with Jeannie Schwarzkopf at the Charis Eurythmy Training in Auburn, California. She completed an artistic 5th year at the Stuttgart Eurythmeum and received her BA in Eurythmy Education through the Den Norske Eurythmihøyskole in Oslo, Norway. She has also earned an MA in eurythmy education through Alanus Hochschule, Germany. Nina is the founding eurythmist of Auriel Eurythmy.
She has performed with various groups in Europe, the Americas, and South Africa. A Waldorf graduate herself, Nina has taught children and adults in Camphill communities and Waldorf Schools, as class teacher, music instructor, as mentor and eurythmy teacher in England, Canada, South Africa, Mexico and China.

Silvia Wend - eurythmy, geometry, study, improv
Silvia's joy is in the dance. And in moving creatively together.
She has journeyed through the arts of theater, poetry, and various movement forms. Silvia has been a Waldorf teacher in Colombia, Uruguay and New York; and has offered adult courses in body expression, poetry recitation, and also Tai-Chi.
She completed her Eurythmy training with Sound Circle Eurythmy in Boulder, CO, where she now lives and participates in artistic Eurythmy presentations. Silvia also travels to Uruguay to teach Eurythmy to adults and children.

Patricia Leiva - eurythmy, art
Patricia graduated with a Bachelor of Plastic Arts from the University of the Americas-Puebla, Mexico. Her introduction to Anthroposophy was through the arts, dance and music. She has always had a desire to help others and she feels that the arts are the most direct way to touch others. During and after her Waldorf teacher training at the Anthroposophical Development Center in Cuernavaca, Mexico, Patricia worked as a Waldorf Teacher in preschool and the grades. She has been a class teacher, as well as a teacher in gardening, movement, art and English at Iniciativas Escolares Waldorf in Puebla, Playa del Carmen, and in Mexico City.
Patricia is still committed to working from the arts. She is a graduate of Auriel Eurythmy, Mexico City. She speaks English, Spanish, and French, and is inspired to share her explorations in anthroposophy, eurythmy, and the arts born from a love of community-based learning.

Becky Tuttle - eurythmy, copper rods
Becky graduated from Auriel Eurythmy in Mexico City in 2022, she has participated in presentations in Canada, Mexico, Peru and Switzerland.
Since graduation she has been involved with the Auriel artistic group. In addition to her work as instructor for Auriel Eurythmy, she is also teaching at schools in Mexico City and and at teacher training institutions. Becky comes from a nursing background and plans to continue her education in the art of therapeutic eurythmy in the future.

Leticia Tarno - Eurythmy
Leticia graduated from Auriel Eurythmy in Mexico City in 2022, and has performed in Mexico, Peru, and Switzerland.
Leticia is helping to lead the Auriel performing group and comes to us with previous experience as a dancer and performer.

Rachel Perry Schrank
Rachel graduated from Auriel Eurythmy in Mexico City in 2024, and has performed in Mexico and Switzerland.
Prior to completing her eurythmy studies, Rachel graduated from Harvard with a keen interest in the performing arts.
Rachel loves music and feels especially comfortable with eurythmy with music.
